Spring is in the air…or at
least a taste of it. Typical of New England, warm weather comes
and goes—leaving us wanting more warmth and sunshine. Early signs of spring
include buds sprouting on the trees, snow piles melting and runners
training for the marathon.
With spring on the way, why
not get out and literally smell the flowers? The annual Boston Flower & Garden Show, at
the Seaport World Trade Center from
March 12th-16th features a great theme, Romance
in the Garden.

This event is ideal for those
who have an appreciation for, or want to develop an understanding about,
beautiful floral designs. This event inspires you and gives you ideas
to make your apartment, home, and where applicable, outdoor space, lush
and colorful. You will be amazed by the way nurseries,
horticulturists and amateur gardening enthusiasts transform the Trade
Center.
The Garden Show is much more
than flower arrangements, you will see everything from a Garden of Cakes—where
a Sweet Tooth meets a Green Thumb; freestanding gardens inspired by a romantic
novel, movie or song; an exhibit using bicycles as floral containers; as well
as amateur competitions in a variety of divisions.

Show will give you a chance to learn. There is a full program of daily
lectures, how-to demos, and hands-on workshops! For a full listing of
subjects and times visit the Boston
Flower & Garden Show website.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children, $17 for
seniors and can be purchased online or
